Dear Parent,
We are delighted to inform you that Erin’s Own under 8s have been selected to play in Croke Park on the 4th April as part of the Leinster Councils Activity Days for young players. As you will agree this is a fantastic treat and honour for all these young hurlers. Enclosed are the details for the day’s activities.
We are taking a large bus to Croke Park on the day (Bus Leaving from Ballycomey at 8.15am sharp, €10.00 per head) for all the boys and their families to travel on. We are aiming to make this a great occasion for the boys involved and we want families to enjoy the day and to be also involved in this day for the boys. To get to play in Croke Park, The Theatre of Hurling Dreams is a dream come through for many players and for these young boys, We hope it will become a lifelong memory where they will experience all the fun and excitement of the dressing rooms, The running out through the famous tunnel and playing on the hallowed turf.
Afterwards the club will be taking the panel to Liffey Valley for some treats in McDonalds on the way home. If you have any queries please feel free to contact myself or Ken Brennan(Under 8 Coach).
Yours in Sport

Parking
There will be three designated areas for parking on the day:
Bus Park 1 & 2 – Back of the Cusack Stand and The Davin Stand Car Parks
These car parks will be limited to Buses Only as there is limited space available. As to which car park you use will be dependent on your designated time slot. Access to the Cusack Stand car park is off Clonliff Road (At the Hill 16/Museum entrance) and entrance to the Davin Stand Car Park is off N Circular Road down St. Margarets Ave. Access to the Stadium from the Davin Stand Car Park will be through the Davin Stand. (Please see appendix (i) of schedule of events for breakdown of allocation of Bus Parks
Car Park 3 – Back of Croke Park Hotel (This is located across from the Hogan Stand)
This car park will be available to all other cars i.e parents, clubs where the children are travelling by individual cars etc. (Please see map provided). This will be an unmanned car park and we would ask people to park in an orderly fashion to allow people to enter and leave on a regular basis.(Unfortunately we cannot guarantee access to this car park as it will depend on demand on the day)
Parking will be at owners risk
Entrance to the Stadium
Entrance to the stadium for those parked in the Croke Park Hotel will be solely through the entrance off Clonliff Road via Hill 16 (Please see map provided). We would ask that you communicate this with all parents and supporters prior to the day to avoid confusion. For the buses parked in the Davin Stand Car Park there will be access to the stadium from the Davin Stand
